The Harvest Wine Dinner at Viansa Winery is an exclusive event that brings together legendary and emerging winemakers of Sonoma Valley. Guests will begin the evening with wine tastings from renowned vineyards, accompanied by gourmet bites. The night continues with a 3-course dinner hosted by a leading figure in the wine industry, featuring rare library and current-release wines carefully paired to create an unforgettable culinary experience.

Vintage Festival 5K Fun Run
Sonoma Plaza
Saturday, September 27 – 8 am
The 5K Fun Run on Saturday, September 28th, kicks off the Daytime Festival in Sonoma Valley. Participants will run or walk through scenic vineyards, tree-lined roads, and downtown Sonoma, enjoying the beauty of the harvest season. The race finishes at the Historic Sonoma Plaza, where the festivities continue with the Daytime Festival, a cherished community event open to all. Runners of all ages and skill levels—including families, groups, and even those with strollers—are welcome to join in this fun and active morning.
Fee: $45 Early Access by July 31st; $50 starting August 1st.
Sonoma Valley Grand Tasting

The Sonoma Valley Grand Tasting is an elegant evening of wine tasting under the stars at the historic Sonoma Barracks. Guests will explore the diverse wines and growing regions of Sonoma Valley, sampling an exceptional selection from over 40 wineries. This walk-around tasting event offers the chance to meet winemakers and winegrowers, enjoy current vintages from all six Sonoma Valley appellations, and savor locally prepared cuisine from top chefs and artisans.

Sonoma Valley Plaza Festivities

OFFICIAL KICK-OFF
The daytime festival opens at 8 am with a 5K Fun Run for all ages before the fun continues on the historic Sonoma Plaza with a tried-and-true Sonoma Valley Community event, including the Blessing of the Grapes.
ARTISANS FESTIVAL
The Artisans Festival brings together local artists, makers, and creators. See unique installations and meet artists from all over the Sonoma Valley. The festival is free and open to the public. Local Artisans interested in becoming a vendor are invited to apply by clicking here.
LIVE MUSIC + WINE + ACTIVITIES
Enjoy local wine and beer by the glass and various local food vendors throughout the day while listening to live music on the historic Sonoma Plaza. Stroll the Artisans Festival, local community booths, Sonoma Plaza shops, tasting rooms, and family fun in the Kids Zone with a local favorite, the Salami Toss. Savor the season during the most anticipated time of the year. Family-friendly and something for everyone to enjoy.

Throughout the day visitors can enjoy Sonoma Valley wine and Sonoma Springs craft beer by the glass and a variety of food vendors, while listening to live music on the Historic Sonoma Plaza. There’s a Kids area with games and fun, and artisans fair that brings together local artists, and creators of all kinds. This free festival is open to the public.
