Get ready for the annual  Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival Poster Contest, brought to you by the Sonoma Valley Vintners & Growers Alliance! Don’t miss your opportunity to become a part of this beloved tradition. These iconic posters have held a special place in the hearts of festival-goers and collectors alike over the festival’s remarkable 129-year history.

This year’s poster contest theme is “Year of Community,” recognizing the enduring role of wine in bringing people together—around the table, through shared meals, and in celebration—highlighting how food and wine have always been at the heart of connection and community in Sonoma Valley.

In 2026, we invite artists to capture the Valley of the Moon’s vibrant history, rich heritage, and landscapes while embracing this year’s theme, “The Year of Community.” Entrants must submit their digital masterpieces online by Sunday, May 3rd, 2026.

The winning artist will receive a $250 honorarium and two tickets to the Vintage Festival’s Grand Tasting event, on Saturday, September 26th. The winning art will be the official event poster of the 129th Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival, and posters will be available for purchase at Saturday’s Daytime Festival.
