Get ready for the return of the Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival Poster Contest, brought to you by the Sonoma Valley Vintners & Growers Alliance! Don’t miss your opportunity to become a part of this beloved tradition. These iconic posters have held a special place in the hearts of festival-goers and collectors alike over the festival’s remarkable 127-year history.

This year’s poster contest theme is “The Year of the Vintner,” celebrating 200 years of winemaking in Sonoma Valley.

In 2025, we invite artists to capture the Valley of the Moon’s vibrant history, rich heritage, and landscapes while embracing this year’s theme, “The Year of the Vintner.” Entrants must submit their digital masterpieces online by Friday, March 28th at 5:00 p.m.

The winning artist will receive a $250 honorarium and two tickets to the Vintage Festival’s Grand Tasting event, on Saturday, September 27th. The winning art will be the official event poster of the 128th Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival, original artwork will be featured as an auction item at the Sonoma Valley Harvest Dinner and posters will be available for purchase at Saturday’s Daytime Festival.
